One Direction 'Where We Are' Tour Amsterdam

The concert was on the 24th of June but my trip started earlier. It started the day before by driving to the train station. I went to my friend, from there we would leave for Amsterdam. After an hour I arrived at her trainstation there she picked me up. I was kinda starving so we went to Quick for some yummie fastfood! Then we took the bus to her place, another hour on the bus.. We relaxed a bit and watched 'This Is Us' before going to bed. We were getting nervous..

The next morning we woke up at 7am, not very tired.. WE WERE EXCITED!! We took the train to Antwerp, it was only 15 minutes. We still had more than an hour to take the train. Where we went to? Is that even a question? Starbucks ofcourse! We didn't had breakfast yet so perfect timing! We almost stepped on the wrong train but damn we were happy when we arrived in Amsterdam. We still needed to buy tickets for the metro but first, pizza! No we didnt't eat anything healthy, oops! We already saw a few fans in the station and when we asked the woman behind the information desk which metro was the best for us she also told us that her daughter was going. "Have fun girls!" She literally screamed. Also our hotel was full of fans "Also going to One Direction tonight?"

We went to the Amsterdam Arena by bus, it was only 10 minutes driving. As we stepped out we walked to the "Hot Ticket" desk to the registered. "Go to section E." We passed by all the fans who were waiting for hours already. We showed our Vip-pass and were at our seats in no-time. For real, it was so chill, no screaming of pushing. We had amazing seats and I enjoyed it so much. Zayn his highnotes can still bring me to tears *-*. If you are going to a show I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. This was the 5th time that I saw them and my third concert, I keep falling in love with them.

After the amazing concert we took the bus, which was full of fans, back to our hotel. The next day we went to Starbucks again. On our way home we got stuck in the train for 45 minutes because there was an accident between a train infront of us and a passenger. We were so stressed becaused we missed our connection but we made it in the end.

This was the second time that I met my friend Chelsea and it was so so so soooo good! Can't believe we're going back to Düsseldorf in a few days. We have standing tickets then. Let's see which memories we can make there!

You get the greatest memories while traveling.

Say hello to my Nikon D5200.

I think it was time for a new camera, like a good camera. I have one but I only use that one for concerts cause it has a good zoom and it's small enough to get into the venues. I talked a lot with my dad about getting a good one and last saturday he took me to a shop and today we bought the Nikon D5200. IN LOVE!
Sorry for these horrible pictures with my Iphone but the light in the bedroom that I have in dad's house isn't working well. I should ask dad to fix it! But I'm just so excited and wanted to give you a look of my new camera! I'm almost jumping around, I wanna get started!

Say bye to this quality hahah!

And get used to this. Well I'm not a pro, I need to get to know my camera so don't kill me!

MY NYE.

Me and Daphni started the evening with some snacks. After that we challenged ourselfs by cooking pasta! On the picture below it may not look that good but it was really good! I'm proud cause I never cook haha! Then it was already time for the countdown, 5,4,3,2,1 HAPPY NEWYEAR!! We didn't drank champagn but cava instead. For dessert we had chocolate fondue with fruit, the thought of being healthy is good enough! Afterwards we went to a party in our village. We both were tipsy but we came home safe. I met a really old friend again and he wanted to bring us home. Well not with a car, too bad! He had his bike and we walked. We came home at 5am laughing our asses off. "shhhh! We have to be quiet!" Oh yes, we had fun!

Copenhagen

My first trip to Copenhagen is over. It was also my first trip on my own, which made it more exciting! Wednesday August the 14 th, I was standing with my carry-on luggage in the departure hall of Brussels Airport. I went to a friend for a few days. I was really looking forward to it, a few day of relaxing and exciting stuff to do!

After Stine picked me up from the airport, we went to a mall. Nice to know: 50 Cent visited the mall the day after us. We picked up another girl from school and decided to play with carts at home! Actually the first time for me that I played a real game with carts!

The next day we went to the center of Roskilde by train. It had nice small shopping streets and again a mall. Stine bought some movies that we would watch for sure!

After me and Stine watched movies at home all day, we met up with our friend at the movies. I discovered that they eat popcorn with salt in Denmark! What a shock! We sat in a hall for 40 people, really weird!

On day 3 we visited Copenhagen with the three of us. We took a hop-on/off bus to visit the city. A must if you want to see as much as possible on a short time. There was a bus every 30 minutes, we didn't really lose time.

In the evening we met up with Stine her parents and brother in Tivoli. It's an amusement-park en there are performances every week. I usually get sick in rollercoasters so I had to walk some more, which was also nice! We also had dinner in a restaurant in the park and after a walk through the park we took the train home.

My plane took off on sunday. After breakfast I packed everything and our drive to the airport started. I was in time and then you realise how slow time goes by! Sitting on your own for 2 hours is not as simple as it looks. But after a flight of one hour and a half, I arrived in Brussels.

I love Copenhagen

Relax.

After me and my dad drove around the whole day for different things, we wanted so get some fresh air. We decided to walk to the lake with my dog, it's only 2 kilometers from my home. Through quiet streets and a forest and you're already there in 10 minutes. 'De Plas' like we call it here is a good place to find some rest and relax a bit. A lot of people come here to run, to swim and to sail. My dad also used to have a sailing boat, by lack of space he has to sell it. I was with him when the boat got sold. While the new owner drove away I saw my dad standing in the garden with tears in his eyes. His boat was his proud. Until now he didn't buy a new one but I hope he will someday. Sailing on a beautiful is amazing!

Big city, how I miss you.

Did you ever visited a city and were not even excited about going there because it was ' just a city'. Did such a city ever surprise you? I don't mean a random city with it but really a city, a city were you didn't expect anything from. I'm home from Poland for two weeks now, but we needed to ride really far we decided to stay in Dresden for a night. We would take off the next day again. When we went to the city after we changed clothes, I felt a 'free' feeling. I didn't feel uncomfortable of a tourist. It felt like I was a part of the people who lived there and that's so weird for me. But there's only one city, outside Belgium where it feels like coming home and that(s London. I've been there 4 times already and I'm planning to go there in December for the 5th time. But Dresden also surprised me with his small street, where a pianist gives the best of himself in the middle of the street. Worth it!

Shopping at Reserved.

In Poland I discovered a very nice store 'Reserved'! You can compare their collection a bit with ZARA I think. It's one of the largest clothing chains in Poland. The prices are about the same as those of ZARA. Resevered exists in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Lithuania, Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, Lotva, Hungary and Ukraine. Hopefully it comes to West Europe in the future. It would be a good competitor for ZARA and H&M.

OOTD.

Today we visited a ski resort. I had overslept so i needed to take something out of my closet really quick. Usually when I don't have time, I stay for quite some time infront of my closet to find an outfit. I saw my black skirt and my oufit was quickly chosen. A simple top with a special skirt and my outfit was complete!

Bracelets: Pandora, I am
Watch: D&G
Skirt, top and necklace: H&M
Shoes: Van Loock
Bag: Zara

In the evening when we arrived at my family there house, I wanted to put on something else to go the the restaurant. And again, I didn't have much time. I combined a top with bigger pearls with my black skirt and put on my high heels. They look like Jeffrey Campbell, I know. I bought these fake JC's in a really small shop in Italy. They sold fake shoes of expensive brands in small sizes. JC starts with size 36 (UK 5), too big for me. I bought these in size 34 (UK 1,5-2) for 40 euros and nobody sees the difference.

Top: Pimkie
Shoes: Italië/Italy

Graduation present.

"And what do I get now?" I said as a joke to my mom when I got my grades and heard that I graduated. My diploma and certificate were a fact! "Well okay, choose something!" did she answered. In February I got a Michael Kors watch for my 18th birthday and since then my intrests in the brand grew. I surfed quite some time on their website and if you know me well, you know that I have a soft spot for handbags. "Maybe a handbag?" I didn't go into detail anymore because you can hardly find Michael Kors in Belgium. And i didn't like the idea of buying an expensive handbag via the internet.

Last week I was walking around in Dresden, we made a stop to stay the night and I wanted to shop a bit. It was almost 9PM and the shops started to close. A handbag with 'MK' on it got my attention, like a bell rang inside my head. I shouted "They sell Michael Kors!" to my mom. We got curious and entered the shop. There he stood on top of the rack a square, tight, camel Micheal Kors.  Ihad already decided for myself that it would be him, but then my stepfather came, he found another one more beautiful, which was also more expensive. The clerk saw me infront of the mirror with rectangular handbag and winked at me. I knew she was thinking the same thing. "That's the best!" She also confirmed it in German and gave me a whole word commentary, what my mother did not understand haha. I thought it was super sweet of the saleswoman. She could sell me an expensive handbag but she did not. There need to be more people like her! Less than 15 minutes later  I walked out with the handbag of my dreams. As proud as a peacock!

Krackow.

Today I visited the Krackow city in Poland. After a 2 hour drive through the mountains, on roads where you could drive max 70 per hour we were finally there. I did not know what to expect. I love cities but Krackow was just the only city where I had not been looking for! "This square is very beautiful!" that wasthe only thing I was told by my grandmother.

Many old buildings, stores that they do not have in Belgium .. That got my attention actually. I must admit Krackow has totally not stolen my heart. I did not feel myself in Poland but maybe that's because I can grasp Poland and hot weather not good We also did a ride by horse and cart, where I first had absolutely no favors. "In a carriage by the city? I want to see the city itself!" But I didn't want to be stubborn  and jumped into the carriage. I stroked today for the first time in seven years a horse. Quite special for me because for a long time I didn't want to know anything about horses. It actually came by all those girls who do horse riding as a sport and put 123489 photos with emotional texts on Facebook. Nothing for me! Oh, what a heat comes from nostrils of a horse, haha!
