"Lately I've been waking up alone."

Can I start this article by saying "I had a SHITday." No? Yes? Anyway, I had one of those days today. I decided to leave it behind. "Head up miss!". My dad is kinda ill like the rest of Belgium. And when I'm not here he just lays on the couch, watching movies and hoping that he'll feel better the next day. And then I come in, "Dad let's go!". We took my dog with us and walked for an hour or something. Beside that another dog wanted to eat my little doggie, it was relaxing. There were these two dogs walking in the garden and their boss was working outside. When we passed their house one of the kinda big dogs started to run after my dog. I could keep him away from my dog while my dad took care of her. And then the boss came and stomped his dog. I kept my hand infront of my eyes, I couldn't believe what had happened. I had to wipe a few tears..

Please, whatever your pet does, don't hurt him/her please..

Krackow.

Today I visited the Krackow city in Poland. After a 2 hour drive through the mountains, on roads where you could drive max 70 per hour we were finally there. I did not know what to expect. I love cities but Krackow was just the only city where I had not been looking for! "This square is very beautiful!" that wasthe only thing I was told by my grandmother.

Many old buildings, stores that they do not have in Belgium .. That got my attention actually. I must admit Krackow has totally not stolen my heart. I did not feel myself in Poland but maybe that's because I can grasp Poland and hot weather not good We also did a ride by horse and cart, where I first had absolutely no favors. "In a carriage by the city? I want to see the city itself!" But I didn't want to be stubborn  and jumped into the carriage. I stroked today for the first time in seven years a horse. Quite special for me because for a long time I didn't want to know anything about horses. It actually came by all those girls who do horse riding as a sport and put 123489 photos with emotional texts on Facebook. Nothing for me! Oh, what a heat comes from nostrils of a horse, haha!

Auschwitz.

Today there was a trip to Auschwitz on the program. After half an hour we arrived. I didn't feel good, did not know what to expect. My family here in Poland had told me that if I went, I would not eat that day anymore. Just before we went inside I wanted to turn back but something in me said I would regret it. I started my trip with a guide. Many stories I already knew because we had learned in school during history lessons got told. It had not been difficult to watch everything for a long time until we entered one room. Behind glass we saw long hair of women, children's shoes, suitcases which they must leave with the soldiers, glasses, dolls of children and so on. I thought I had to vomit. I found this along with the gas chamber so disgusting ..

Afterwards I was glad I did it. I hope something like this horror will not happen again. This was true horror.

BBQ

Deze week is eens een warme week in België! Eindelijk een BBQ, ik keek er naar uit. Na een hele dag werken stak papa de BBQ aan. Ik moet nu nog 6 weken werken en stiekem hoop ik dat het niet heel warm meer gaat worden. In het bedrijf waar ik werk is het in één kamer fris en in een andere kamer weer heet. Ik voel me snel misselijk door die temperatuursverschillen. Poor me!

Een BBQ verdiende ik wel!

This week is a hot week in Belgium! Finally a BBQ, I looked forward to it. After working all day dad put on the BBQ. I need work another 6 weeks and I secretly hope that it's not going to be very hot anymore. In the company I work for it' in one room fresh and hot again in another room. I feel quickly nauseated by those temperature variations. Poor me!

College, here I come!

At half past 9, I was ready to register myself at college. After a lot of paperwork I was registered. I still need a laptop. The school where I'm going is known for working with a laptop. Almost everything happens online just for some subjects I need books. I finally made a decison, I'm gonna study Marekting Event. The school seems to be fun, everything was so modern!

When I came back home I sat in the garden till my dad picked me up, the sun was shining again!

Today I haven't done so much. Along with my step brother and step mother  I went to their aunt. She lives in an apartment recently where they get extra care. We went into the cafeteria to eat something and I thought "Macaroni with cheese and ham! Yes!". When they brought my plate I thought something else. "Where is the spaghetti?". There was more ham and sauce in than anything else. There was certainly no Italian cooking behind the pots haha!

After our meal and an awful dessert we went back to her apartment. "And now sun!". I almost had the door handle in my hand to leave. The weather was so beautiful again and I had done my duty. And then all of a sudden, the aunt had the idea to go to the store and the cemetery. Oh shit, there goes my day. Along with my step brother we stayed in her apartment. For no money in the world I would walk around with a lady of 80 years when it was so hot outside. Believe me I was pissed off. I saw a sunny afternoon just passing by. It was terrible, so terrible that I've fallen asleep on the ground. Yes, now I have a stiff neck. Auw!

We went home to give the dogs their food and then.. Off to dad! I was so happy to get out of the car after a drive of 30 minutes. We ate outside and it was so cozy. My day ended well !

Tomorrow I will register myself on college. I am really wondering where I will end up the next 3 years. Probably tomorrow more about it!

The sun is shining!

Yesterday my stepmother picked my up at my mom's place. I didn't want to be alone today so I'd spend some time with her.

It's very hot today but I wanted to go to the city. Looks like Ludo, on this picture wanted to go with us haha.

I was trying out my stepmother her camera. On a hot day, that you rarely experience in our small country, I'm allowed to act crazy!

Walking with Chanel

Ik heb een mini Chihuahua en veel wandelen doet ze niet graag. Ze wilt alleen naar buiten als het mooi weer is. In één woord,  verwend nest. Ik heb besloten om deze zomer elke avond even een kleine wandeling te maken, gewoon omdat het ook wel gezond is! Het is zeker motiverend om met een hond te gaan wandelen!

I have a mini  Chihuahua and she doesn't like to walk a lot. She only wants to go outside when the weather is good. In one word, spoiled. This summer I decided to go for a short walk every evening, just because it's also healthy! Walking with your dog is a good motivation!
